The Persuasion of Dragons
A retelling of Jane Austen’s Persuasion with dragon riders.
Adah Kellynch was engaged to the man of her dreams, then let him go. She’s regretted it ever since.
Now, he’s back in her life, with a new (very wild) dragon in tow!
Publication: around December 2026!
This standalone story takes place in the Dragoneers of Kinella world, with some crossover characters (most prominently Selaide Longbourn).
This went from just an idea to a full novel over the summer! First, I’m waiting for my lovely beta readers to give me feedback. Then, I have a few more weeks of edits (draft 4). I’ll record the audiobook and it’ll be ready to go out to you!

However Improbable & Must Be True
In modern-day New England autumn, a Sherlock and Watson duo chase a serial killer.
Sherlock is a woman named Ingrid. She’s tangled with the serial killer in the past, and learned an important lesson: romance only slows you down.
Watson is a demon she accidentally summoned. He’s determined to kill her at the first opportunity. So why can’t he stop admiring her?
Publication: 2027
This started as a single novel. Then, it expanded until I realized that I had two novels on my hands! So, now it will be a duology, which will be published back-to-back.
The romance is very slow-burn, delicious in its messy tension, and the star of the show. I originally planned for this to be an Urban Fantasy Mystery with a subplot of Romance. However, I’ve had so much fun developing the romance that it’s turned into more of a Paranormal Romance with a subplot of Mystery.
Both However Improbable (book 1) and Must Be True (book 2) are in the editing stages (drafts 2 & 3).
A Sense & Sensibility retelling
A retelling of Jane Austen’s Sense & Sensibility, in The Dragoneers of Kinella series.
Publication: 2027
I’m outlining this one! To be honest, my original plan was to do Northanger Abbey next (so you can find teasers of that in The Persuasion of Dragons!). However, with a Sense & Sensibility movie coming out soon, it seemed a better order to strike while the popularity of S&S is hot. Now there’s teasers for Sense & Sensibility in The Persuasion of Dragons, too!
